After Sales Technical Representative
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Dealer Network with the provision of technical support through CQS (central
quality system) and follow up Dealer technical reports.
• Attend to Dealer technical queries (telephone/email).
• On-site technical support to network when necessary.
• During Dealer visits check Dealer workshops for Technical Information systems
usage.
• Advise Training Department on Dealer requirements regarding technical competency
improvements.
• Write reports on field visits, vehicle, and Dealer facility.
• Write field technical reports to TME / TMC.
• Liaison with TME/ TMC on all technical matters.
• Investigate and report on and resolve technical issues.
• Support Customer Relations Department with Network CR related issues.
• Implement Campaigns with network training when necessary.
• Follow technical / general training as required.
• Prepare presentation for regional technical meetings held twice yearly.
• Support internal departments with technical queries (Training, Warranty, Parts,
Product etc.)
Skills & Experience:
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position either at distributor level or
with a main Dealer franchise.
• Specialist skills in the area of vehicle electronics, modern diesel engine technology
and troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service skills, responding to requests in an efficient manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to prepare easy to read reports and information.
• Effective communication, listening and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Full, clean drivers’ licence.
