My client in Santry has an immediate requirement for an AP Manager on an initial temporary basis.
The role will be onsite 4 days per week in Northwood, Santry, Dublin 9 and will report to the Finance Director.
Key daily tasks will include:
· Oversee daily, weekly, and month-end accounts payable functions including the month-end close process including supplier statement reconciliations, invoice processing and supplier payments.
· Manage and develop the existing accounts payable team
· Drive team performance and delivery of objectives and embed a culture of compliance and internal control.
· Build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders.
· Work alongside the Operational leads to ensure that the function is providing the best available data to support the business operations.
· Implement and continual improvement of internal controls, harmonising processes to best practice.
· Creation of compliance frameworks and driving best practices within the systems environment.
· Ensuring correct training is provided to staff within accounts payable and other departments across the business
· Produce reports and analyses to the wider business, utilising Dynamics reporting capability.
· Produce valuable management information capable of driving strategic decision making.
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the Group’s auditors.
· Delivery of all reports, schedules, and information to relevant stakeholders within tight deadlines
· To perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.
· Ensure RCT tax submissions are completed accurately by deadlines.
· Drive system upgrades and development for accounts payable, ensuring workflows are correctly followed.
· Process expenses on a monthly basis
The ideal candidate will be:
· Experienced in managing a ‘high-volume’ multi-location transactional Accounts Payable function.
· Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Be able to take personal responsibility.
· Have a flexible and positive attitude towards work.
