BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – BEVERAGES EXPERIENCE
My client is looking to hire a Business Development Executive who will professionally represent the company in Galway, Mayo, Sligo & Donegal. Through this, achieve sales and volume targets: increase brand awareness and penetration: and increase customer alignment with the company. The objectives are to achieve planned revenue and volume targets, achieve customer credit targets and Increase brand awareness, visibility, and penetration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Achieve all targets and objectives within territory.
· Manage and plan territory to achieve maximum results.
· Develop and implement annual business plan for key accounts, using agreed format.
· Monitor and evaluate customer and area performance against business plan, make appropriate changes where required.
· Develop, present, and agree customer / event/ product specific proposals.
· Develop and implement new customer acquisition plan, using agreed format.
· Develop, manage, and grow relationships with Wholesalers, as required.
· When required, work with Wholesalers Sales Representatives to ensure they are representing the company appropriately.
· Complete all required administration to agreed deadlines.
· Use sales support technology in an effective manner.
· Report on and make recommendations on response to competitor activities.
· Ensure all current and relevant POS materials, Price Lists and Brand Catalogues are available for every call.
· Be available to carry out special projects in line with Company/Corporate Development Plans.
· Full responsibility for use, recording and pay-back generating from Territory Budgets.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Business Planning
The ability to identify and understand your customers varying requirements and potential: to develop business plans and apply relevant and appropriate business development techniques, measures, and behaviours.
· Organisation Skills
The ability to organise time, territory, tasks, and administration to maximise effectively productivity and efficiency to meet personal and corporate goals.
· Commercial Acumen
To be able to demonstrate a high-level understanding of our trading environment which includes financial awareness, budget control and market and customer knowledge.
· Sales Skills
A detailed understanding and ability to apply the Edward Dillon & Co. Ltd. sales process. This entails Sales Planning, Call Preparation, The Call and Follow Up.
· Product Knowledge
To fully understand and can clearly explain all aspects, features and benefits of the Edward Dillon & Co. Ltd. product range.
· Self-Skills
To be aware of how you interact, communicate, and present yourself to internal and external customers. Work effectively as a member of a team. To apply and develop the necessary behaviours to be successful in your role and adapt to cultural and process change in a positive manner.
· IT Skills
Ability to effectively use, know and understand all the technology provided.
