Position Title: Sales and Business Development Professional
Location: Cork Area/Hybrid
My client is a fast-growing West Cork based award winning company bringing an Irish designed manufactured and produced green technology solution to the market. We use the power of anaerobic digestion to turn food waste into clean renewable energy for cooking and growing.
We are passionate about sustainability and climate change and our ambition is to create positive impact with our food waste-to-energy product.
On behalf of my client I am looking to hire a Sales and Business Development You will play a pivotal role in driving sales, establishing partnerships, and expanding our market presence. If you are passionate about sustainability, have a proven track record in sales, and want to contribute to a company making a real difference, we want to hear from you.
Duties Include
• Identify new business opportunities in our growth areas and emerging markets.
• Generating leads and creating pipeline for potential sales.
• Driving sales in current and new pipeline with high conversion of sales opportunities.
• Achieving sales targets set by the company.
• Creating sales development plans and forecasting sales and growth projections with the support of the leadership team.
• Developing excellent customer relationships ensuring that high service standards are maintained consistently.
• Assisting customers in providing all necessary and important information about our products and service.
• Providing regular updates on sales progress and targets to leadership team (reports and briefings
Education/Experience
5 years+ sales and business development experience, ideally within a B2B environment.
A keen and demonstrated interest in sustainability and innovative solutions.
A degree qualification in a relevant subject area (Business/Sales/ Sustainability).
Demonstrated consistent overachievement of quota towards revenue goals
Excellent forecasting and reporting capabilities.
Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage a large funnel of leads. Excellent working knowledge of CRM systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to initiate and high level of motivation to succeed.
