Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Care Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring high quality care and support services are provided to enable individuals to remain in their own homes, living a fulfilled life, which respects their diversity, culture, and values.
The role of the Care Coordinator is to support the delivery of the highest quality care support services in a hands-on way.
Duties of the role will include (but are not limited to) to following:
- Managing the distribution of Care Assistants responding to service delivery issues as they arise.
- Assisting with the induction and training of care workers within the company.
- Implementing, monitoring and evaluating the Individual Support and Assessment Procedures within your area of responsibility.
- Communicating with customers, their families and other care professionals.
Requirements
- A diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a Care Coordinator, as a supervisor or other role within a care providing organisation.
- Proficiency in the English language, together with excellent communication skills.
- A strong understanding of legislation concerns with care provision.
- A full UK drivers’ licence and access to own transport.
- Right to work in the UK.
