CPL are currently working with one of the most successful FMCG businesses in the UK based in Omagh, County Tyrone to recruit a full time, permanent Company Accountant.
A family run business with over 30 years in product excellence with a key focus in creating an excellent working environment with a positive growth-based mindset.
Roles & Responsibilities;
• Preparation of weekly accounts
• Preparation of periodic management accounts
• Interpretation of the accounts, providing meaningful analysis and commentary
• Working closely with the General Manager of the business unit to identify important business issues that need addressed including identification of cost savings
• Assistance with the preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Group VAT returns (NI & ROI) / RCT returns
• Managing and mentoring the finance team within the business unit
• Ad hoc duties to support the Group finance function and the Group Financial Controller including the preparation of ad-hoc reports
What we are looking for;
• You must be a Qualified Accountant or Part-Qualified Accountant with significant Industry experience
• You should be able to demonstrate leadership and managerial ability with strong decision-making skills.
• You should have a professional and presentable manner with strong confidence in your ability.
