Role & Responsibilities:
· Reports to the Finance & Compliance Manager
· Double entries and maintenance of and postings to the Nominal Ledger (SAP)
· Responsibility for the preparation of several reporting (Group; Statutory and regulatory; Investment and Statistic)
· Management of accounts payable
· Reconciliation of bank accounts and investments
Experience & Skills:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a role in the Financial Services area, ideally with a focus on the insurance sector
· Knowledge of the life insurance regulations and reporting in Ireland
· Knowledge of the accounting standards under IFRS (for insurance) and reporting in Ireland (Ideally)
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written within the company/group and to external parties
· Computer literate (Ideally strong Excel skills and basic knowledge of SAP and Tagetik)
· Languages – English and Italian
