Financial Accountant

 Job Specification: Financial Accountant:

This is an excellent opportunity to join the finance team of a high-growth, international company. The individual will work closely with Group CFO and finance manager in the development and growth of the finance function and will have the opportunity to drive real change in the function.

Primary responsibilities include:

·        Preparation of month-end management accounts for the group and subsidiaries, including responsibility for month-end close process

·        Assisting in the preparation and submission of tax, statutory and regulatory compliance across Centaur’s various jurisdictions

·        Preparation of statutory accounts and managing the year end audit process (supported by Group finance team)

·        Continuous improvement of processes and controls, and ad-hoc tasks including financial analysis, as they arise

·        Preparation of board materials and other ad hoc requests to various stakeholders

Required Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics:

·        Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA qualified (0-2 years PQE)

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

·        High level of proficiency in excel is a must

·        Self-starter with ability to work independently and efficiently

·        The ability to interact and communicate effectively with management and other departments in the organisation will be important to the role
