My client based in Portrane, Co Dublin is seeking a General Assistant for their Special Care Unit.
The role will involve working nights from 7.30pm till 7.30am. Please only apply if you can work nights including weekends.
The role will involve working three or four 12 hour shifts each week.
Duties will include but not limited to
- Maintain and action any incoming calls to reception
- Ensure the security of reception including access to and from.
- Maintain and continually update sign in records
- Control access to gates withing the unit for authorised access only
- Keep regular contact with units for updates on the coming and going of people.
- Ensure all guests remain in reception until a member of staff arranges collection
- To monitor and control the Closed Circuit Television cameras
- Report any incidents or suspicious behaviour on CCTV to management
- Complete daily checks
- Complete any reports as required
- Ensure certain areas are cleaned each evening i.e reception
- Control and manage the fire alarm updating units as required
- To ensure their office, their reception area and the car parks are kept tidy and clear of obstacles
- Provide a handover after each shift
- General administration such as reports, incident logs etc
- Any other duties, as required by a member of management/on-call manager
The successful candidate must have
- Fluent English – This is essential
- Previous experience working as a receptionist, within facilities or similar environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
