CPL are currently working with a successful family run, real estate investment and development group who are currently implementing some exciting growth plans across the business. We are currently recruiting for an excellent full time, permanent Group Accountant opportunity to be based in the Londonderry office.

Roles & Responsibilities;

·       Preparation of monthly management accounts.

·       Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting.

·       Prepare job costing reports and profitability tracking.

·       Assist with financial analysis on ongoing operational projects within the organisation.

·       Preparation and submission of VAT (UK & ROI) returns

·       Assist management with development of finance staff and the finance department.

·       Prepare and submit other statutory returns.

·       Liaise with peers and external parties to resolve VAT/PAYE/CIS/RCT queries.

·       Ability to manage staff and allocation of duties to staff within the team

What we are looking for;

·       A qualified accountant with at least two years relevant experience or qualified by experience

·       Hands on experience in job costing

·       Strong experience in preparation of management accounts and year-end statutory accounts for NI/UK and ROI jurisdictions.

·       Excellent technical accounting skills, communication skills and Microsoft Office (Excel proficient)
