On behalf of my client, a global pharmaceutical company, we have a new vacancy for a Group Healthcare Compliance Officer
This is a full time, permanent role for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career and join a growing and progressive pharmaceutical company. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Oversight and responsibility for the Group Healthcare Compliance Programme and Framework
· Write, update and implement Standard Operating Procedures related to Sales, Marketing and Medical Affairs Activities within the Group.
· Review and approve regional interactions with healthcare professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organizations (HCO), such as organisation of events, sponsorship, fee for service, educational grants, donations, patient support programmes, social media activities.
· Investigation and reporting on any Group non-compliance activities
· Reviewing and assessing Employee Conflict of Interest Registers and Quarterly Compliance Reports received from Group affiliates.
· Conducting healthcare compliance due diligence on Third Party Intermediaries
· Completing Companies Partner’s healthcare compliance due diligence questionnaires.
· Conducting Group Compliance training.
· Keep up to date with local legislation and industry codes. Attending an annual international compliance conference.
· Support the Group internal healthcare compliance auditor including assisting on the risk assessment of company Compliance Programme.
· Support during External Audits of the Compliance Programme
· Collaborate with the Compliance Officers in Partner Companies to ensure best practice sharing
· Support the development of corrective and preventive actions to address the root cause of potential compliance issues
· Work in cross functional projects providing compliance advice and ensuring that all mitigating controls are in place
Candidate Requirements:
· Degree in Business or Life Science
· Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
· Familiarity with pharmaceutical Industry Codes of Conduct
· Commercially astute and good business acumen
· A strong professional person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Knowledge and experience around controls
· Excellent oral and written skills
· Fluent English
· Strong IT skills
· Ambitious and able to work on own initiative.
· May involve some travel to Europe and CEE.
