Interview Chairpersons & Interview Panel Members

Talent Evolution Group have opportunities for Interview Chairpersons & Interview Panel Members on behalf of our clients across the Public and Semi-State Sector. We are currently seeking experienced Interview Chairpersons & Interview Panel Members to support our Public Sector and Semi-State clients with their in-person and remote interview processes. Most of our clients are based in Dublin and therefore most requests for in-person interviews will be within the Dublin area. Candidates will be engaged as independent contractors as needed which makes this is great opportunity for those looking for flexibility.
Responsibilities
As an Interview Chairperson/Interview Panel Member you will be responsible for the live interview process ensuring key steps and milestones are undertaken in line with the CPSA Codes of Practice, or equivalent Client requirements. These include but are not limited to:
- Working in partnership with other Interview Panel Members including the agreement of roles and responsibilities
- Review and be familiar with the necessary interview paperwork provided to you in advance by Cpl TEG
- Attend and engage in interview panel member briefing sessions prior to interviews commencing to ensure that each board member understands their role for a specific recruitment campaign/competition
- Review policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements
- Engage in discussion on candidate scoring post interview
- Ensure that interview note taking meets the required standards across all interview board members
- Attend and engage in interview bench marking sessions as scheduled by Cpl TEG where applicable
- Adhere to all GDPR & confidentiality requirements ensuring all relevant documents are completed and returned in a timely manner.
Requirements for the Role
- Significant competency interviewing experience is required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of employment legislation and an understanding of the CPSA Code of Practice
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional level of administrative skills and attention to detail
- High proficiency in use of Microsoft Teams or other video conferencing systems as interviewing will be carried out remotely
- If successful Chairperson/Interview Panel Members will be required to complete mandatory training.
