Staff grade Physiotherapists required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for new opportunities in Children's Disability network 5 Team Clonmel, Tipperary
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate with and work in co-operation with the Children’s Disability Network Manager (CDNM) and other team members in providing an integrated quality service, taking the lead role as required.
- Demonstrate sufficient clinical skills in assessment, planning, implementation and review of treatment / intervention programmes for child and young person caseload attending our services.
- In addition to clinical responsibility, you will be expected to develop further areas of clinical expertise as the service demands, in line with the organisation’s commitment to continuous quality improvement.
- Manage workload in accordance with the needs of the post.
- Be responsible for goal setting in partnership with client, family and other team members as appropriate.
- Work as a key worker for particular cases, if required.
- Collaborate with family, carers, and external stakeholders and management team as appropriate in treatment / intervention, planning and provision of services in a coordinated way.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning and coordinating interventions
- Maintain clinical records in accordance with local and Professional guidelines, ensuring that all records and technical data are up to date and available if required.
- Communicate verbally and / or in writing results of assessments, treatment / intervention programmes and recommendations to the team and relevant others in accordance with service policy.
- Attend clinics, initial team assessments, team meetings, case conferences, etc. as required and at varied locations and liaise with external agencies as required.
- Arrange and carry out duties in a timely manner within settings appropriate to family’s needs and in line with local policy / guidelines.
- Record and collate statistics to reflect work undertaken and provide data as required by the Service Manager or designated person.
- Take a role in policy making and planning within the Children’s Disability Network Team and to advise management of future service developments and requirements.
- Ensure that professional standards are adhered to according to the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and CORU
- Attend and actively contribute to relevant clinical, professional and service meetings and participate as a member of the Children's Disability Network Team.
The Candidate:
- A recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist with CORU registration
- Permission to work in Ireland
