Process engineer- Grad Level
A global healthcare leader based in Carlow is dedicated to producing high-quality pharmaceutical products. We are currently seeking a motivated college graduate to join our team as an Entry-Level Process Engineer. This role offers the opportunity for comprehensive training and development in a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate must be willing to work shifts.
Role Overview:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for introducing new processes and/or products, including product transfers. This role will involve developing and transferring knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, and Inclusion principles. The Process Engineer will participate in cross-functional investigations, define corrective and preventive actions for problems/deviations, and identify opportunities for process improvement. They will initiate and coordinate process improvements, contribute to data-driven decision-making processes, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
· Introduce new processes and/or products, including product transfers.
· Develop and transfer knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, and Inclusion principles.
· Steer and/or participate in cross-functional investigations on problems/deviations, defining corrective and preventive actions.
· Identify, analyse, and prioritize technical or business-related process improvement opportunities and problems.
· Initiate and coordinate improvements for technical or business processes, systems, and behaviours.
· Contribute to a data-driven decision-making process.
· Ensure effective application of Lean Six Sigma and Change Management tools by leading projects, facilitating kaizens, and coaching sponsors and practitioners.
· Ensure manufacturing operations are continually supported and maintained in compliance with all quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
· Receive direction and support as needed.
Qualifications:
· College graduate with a degree in Engineering or related field.
· Willingness to undergo comprehensive training and development.
· Open to shift work.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
