Procurement Assistant
Immediate Start for a 6 months placement.
Work hours: 9 am to 5.30 pm, Monday – Thursday 9 am to 5.00 pm, Friday
Reporting to: Director of Finance / Quantity Surveyors Role
Looking for an energetic self-starter with experience in Procurement preferably with experience in the public.
Duties will include;
Provide support with all aspects of the procurement administration function in the delivery of the overall procurement process
Facilitate and implement frameworks agreements and run mini-competitions
Assisting in the development of specification of tender documents
Ensure that compliance with EU Regulations is adhered to
Prepare procurement reports for internal and external stakeholders
To be considered for this role you will have;
At least 3 years’ experience working within a Procurement environment with sound knowledge of the EU Procurement Directives and Public Sector Procurement environment
Experience in planning and delivering high value and/or complex procurement projects.
Appropriate knowledge of the Capital Works Management Framework
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office packages.
