3-year fixed term contract

CPL are delighted to be working closely with a leading FMCG business across Europe within their industry as they begin to implement exciting investment plans across the facility.

This has presented an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced accountant to join the business on a three-year contract.

The successful candidate will take the financial lead on the multi-million-pound investment projects where you will be responsible for monitoring the progress of the project while ensuring that all financial elements are appropriately controlled.

Roles & responsibilities;

·       Build positive relationships with external project management consultants and contractors

·       Maintaining the project reports

·       Providing assistance in developing and maintaining controls around the capital investment

·       Maintaining all relevant income and expenditure for each project

·       Analysing all project expenses and providing commentary

·       Capital Project Budgeting & accounting

·       Vendor Management

·       Produce Monthly Capital Accounts

·       Fixed Asset Audit review

What we are looking for;

·       Fully Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)

·       Minimum of 3+ years’ experience ideally with experience of capital projects

·       Strong technical skills in accounting

·       Ability to demonstrate understanding of fixed asset accounting and accounting treatment of project spend elements
