Summary
Reporting to the Department lead for S&M Site works, the Project Engineer is accountable for the successful delivery of site projects across Ireland. in line with Client User Requirements.
The Project Engineer will ensure that all contracted deliverables are delivered to cost, time and quality whilst ensuring that all risks are measured and managed effectively.
The project Engineer is primarily responsible for the planning, organization and running of a project to achieve the project objectives safely and within agreed time, cost, and performance criteria.
Primarily concentrating on planning and execution phases of an order, the Project Engineer will ensure that all contracted deliverables are delivered to cost, time and quality whilst ensuring that all risks are measured and managed effectively.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Perform Calculations required for equipment verification.
· Review and analyze client specifications in terms of Company’s quotation, scope of supply and commercial items.
· Generate Isometric drawings, P&ID’s, and control of changes.
· P&ID walk downs.
· Generation and control of project schedules.
· Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation.
· Generate Purchase Requisition Forms for Project Equipment and Components.
· Performing Design Reviews with client/production/mechanical Eng department.
· Generating & Maintaining Project Database and control of Project Documentation.
· Inspecting the mechanical build as it progresses
· Facilitate project communications and reports.
· Support Client meetings.
· Assisting with Incoming Inspection of Project Equipment and Components.
· Work with other internal departments to ensure project objectives are met.
Education & Experience
-Process or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent- e.g., a qualified tradesperson with a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in an engineering role.
-Industry Experience, ideally in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other regulated industry an advantage.
-Good understanding of GMP and requirements for Pharma industry.
Extensive and proven experience in delivering Projects.
