SENIOR CASE MANAGER
My client, a Galway City based financial service organisation seek to hire an experienced Senior Case Manager on the back of new business growth. Reporting to a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will oversee the management of a portfolio of customers across Personal, SME, Corporate and Property Sectors, being responsible for reviewing case strategies and ensuring credit recommendations are in line with regulatory codes to support borrowers in difficulty. You will be fully QFA qualified, someone who wishes to enhance their people, credit, regulatory and relationship management skills. This permanent role has come about due to business expansion and will be based out of their headquarters in Galway City, on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be remunerated with an excellent salary, performance related bonus and an accompanying benefits package.
Responsibilities
· Managing inbound correspondence
· Attending project calls and operational meetings for purpose of reviews and other ad hoc matters
· Meeting and negotiating with borrowers in relation to debt settlement arrangements
· Providing support to the wider team as required.
· Connection level case management
· Meeting and engaging with customers with effective management to progress objectives
· Credit analysis, decision making, credit submissions and decision implementation
· Proactive management of customers in line with agreed exit strategy at loan level, including litigation
· Action CRM system appropriately to ensure accounts are at the correct status
· Work closely with other members of the RM team
· Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate
Requirements:
· Qualified Financial Advisor
· 5 years minimum experience in debt management, restructuring or workout
· Strong negotiation skills
· Relationship management experience essential
· Specific experience in managing primary dwelling homes an advantage
· Confidence to assume responsibility and initiative
· Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, dashboards, data manipulation)
· Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint skills (presentation of financial results to clients / board of directors)
· Excellent, in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the CCMA, CPC, MCC and how to apply these through interactions with our customers
· Full driving license, with access to a vehicle for work purposes
