My client a leading PLC in Dublin West have an immediate requirement for a Senior FP&A Manager on an initial contract basis.
This is a global role that will lead the commercial reporting function for the group.
Key tasks will include:
· Build out a new central international FP&A function
· Manage the month-end commercial reporting process including generation of P&Ls, variance analyses, flash reporting, and month-end review decks
· Review actual P&L results and work closely with relevant accounting teams to ensure monthly results are complete and accurate
· Explain the story of the business through clear and concise data-driven reporting during month-end and during the planning processes
· Coordinate the planning process (budgets, forecasts, outlooks) by obtaining information from regional teams and owning the consolidation and reporting process
· Provide insights back to the management and executive teams to help improve business performance
· Drive process improvements within the FP&A team that reduces the amount of time people spend on non-value added tasks
· Support the VP Finance with ad hoc reporting requests and strategic projects as needed
· Managing and leading the FP&A Team in Dublin
The ideal candidate will be:
· Qualified accountant with 5-7 years’ PQE
· Experience of managing an international team
· Demonstrated strong post qualification experience gained in a fast moving and dynamic business.
· Will have worked previously in a financial reporting or commercial finance position.
