• To be the commercial head of the Operations Dept. of a new Construction Company and help in the establishment of a new Main Contractor in the Construction market, must help Company to develop
& maintain good relations with Client’s and stakeholders alike.
• Will be required to have good interpersonal skills so to coordinate and work with existing Company Team and take charge of and develop new Team members in relation to the financial element of the Company as it grows & develops in the market. This will include coming up with post commencement action plans to maintain profitability should remit conditions of Projects change.
• Be adapt at seeking and presenting variations of Projects and keeping good records of Client interactions of same & of Final Determinations & payment of same.
• To carry out risk analysis of proposed Projects that are been tendered to ensure profitability.
• Will need to produce monthly CVR’s/Cashflows/determination & issuing of sub-contractors & Client payments.
• Procurement & appointment of sub-contractors.
• Prepare & present accurate Bill of Quantities.
• Prepare Preliminary Budgets for Projects.
• Raise Tender RFI’s in conjunction with Company Team.
• Mentoring of new Quantity Surveyors & Estimators.
• Core responsibility will be to carrying out & review cost analysis of Company covering all elements of the commercial aspect of the Company from sub-contractor & material procurement to payments going out & payments coming in on multiply Projects & then to present a Commercial Report to
Company Director’s monthly showing Company is on profitable path or where there are issues that could affect this and what needs to be done to remediate.
