Tax Specialist

Tax Specialist:

Our client is seeking a Tax Specialist to join a busy Practice in Cork on a permanent basis. This role will be report into the Tax Director and Firm Partners. This role based in the office full time Monday – Friday. This role would suit an individual who is either AITI Qualified or Part Qualified.

Responsibilities:

·      Functioning in a team environment, communicating with all members in the office and contributing positively to the firm

·      Delivery of a high quality, customer focused service to Client

·      Liaising with Auditing/Accounts Department on matters involving compliance and statutory filing

·      Preparation of tax returns and responsible for the timely and accurate submission of tax compliance returns and payments

·      Engaging with Revenue on behalf of clients

·      Meet scheduled deadlines for completion of work, presentation of reports, and any other time sensitive responsibilities

·      Assist the tax directors and partners with consultancy projects

·      Act as a mentor to more junior members on the tax team

·      Other ad hoc project works as and when required

Requirements:

·      AITI qualified or part qualified

·      Strong knowledge of Income Tax, CGT, CAT

·      At least three years in a professional tax environment

·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·      Excellent drive, enthusiasm and commitment
