Document Controller – Limavady - £30,000-£35,000
A well-established, award-winning engineering organisation operating within the power and utilities sector is currently seeking a Document Controller to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, detail-focused individual to play a key role in supporting production and project delivery in a fast-paced technical environment.
The Role
· Liaise with internal departments to understand documentation requirements and support the restructuring and ongoing management of contract folders
· Produce and maintain document registers and TIDPs, tracking revisions to ensure accuracy and version control
· Compile, review, and issue client-facing documentation, including technical submissions and final handover / O&M packs
· Ensure all documentation is correctly revised, approved, and issued in line with document control procedures
· Distribute approved documentation to internal teams and external clients
· Produce regular document status reports for project teams and management
· Support the development and implementation of document control procedures
· Act as gatekeeper for document issue, ensuring formatting, approvals, and revision control are correct
· Control superseded and obsolete documentation, ensuring outdated information is removed from shared folders and shop-floor areas
· Coordinate the collection of marked-up drawings from production and testing, ensuring these are incorporated into final as-built documentation
· Act as the primary point of contact for internal document-related queries
The Person
· Minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar role
· Production or manufacturing background
· Strong Microsoft Office skills
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
· Confident communicator and team player
