The Member Services Officer plays a key frontline role, supporting members, handling day‑to‑day operations, and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation. You will be a friendly, professional point of contact and support the wider team through administrative and operational duties.
The Role
The Member Services Officer is responsible for providing high‑quality customer service and completing the administrative tasks necessary for the effective operation of the organisation. This is a member‑facing role involving daily engagement via face‑to‑face interaction, phone, email, and online platforms.
You will report to the Senior Member Services Officer – Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Member Support & Teller Duties
- Process member lodgements, withdrawals, and issue approved loans.
- Provide friendly, professional service across in‑person, phone, and digital channels.
- Manage enquiries and support members with account and service needs.
Loan Processing & Workflow Management
- Manage and progress member loan applications.
- Engage with members regarding documentation, queries, and loan status.
Administration & Operations
- Complete back‑office administrative duties to support member services.
- Maintain accuracy, compliance, and consistency in all operational tasks.
- Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

- Experience in financial services or a relevant business qualification (preferable).
