Office Administrator | Onsite | Galway | Permanent
I am currently seeking a a personable and motivated Office Administrator to join a busy and collaborative team environment for our client who are a growing service-led organisation.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working with people, thrives on conversation, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer support while keeping day-to-day office operations running smoothly.
You will be a key point of contact for customers, handling queries over the phone and by email, supporting administration tasks, and contributing to a positive and down-to-earth office culture.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Office Support
- Act as a first point of contact for incoming calls and customer queries
- Provide a friendly, professional, and solutions-focused service to customers
- Manage emails, bookings, and general office administration tasks
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular communication
- Support the wider team with day-to-day operational coordination
Financial & Administrative Duties
- Process customer payments and assist with payment queries
- Support invoicing and general financial administration tasks
- Liaise internally regarding account queries or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records using internal systems and Excel
- Assist with basic reporting and data tracking
Team & Culture Contribution
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit office environment
- Support a positive, down-to-earth team culture
- Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the business grows
- Show initiative and willingness to learn new systems and processes
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a customer-facing admin or office support role
- Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone
- Comfortable handling customer queries in a professional manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Organised, reliable, and adaptable approach to work
Desirable
- Experience handling payments, invoicing, or financial administration
- Experience in a fast-paced service environment
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
