Cpl Office Support is looking to hire a Recruitment Consultant to join their busy team. This is a hybrid position and a great opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in recruitment.
The Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for managing the full permanent recruitment lifecycle within the Office Support division. This includes developing client relationships, sourcing and placing high-quality candidates, and delivering a professional, consultative recruitment service to both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients within the office support market
- Proactively develop new business opportunities through networking, sales calls, and meetings
- Take detailed job briefs and provide consultative advice on market conditions, salaries, and hiring strategies
- Manage client expectations and ensure a high level of service delivery at all times
Candidate Management
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for permanent office support roles (e.g. administration, reception, customer service, PA/EA, HR support, finance support)
- Advertise roles across job boards, social media, and internal databases
- Conduct competency-based interviews and assess candidate suitability
- Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, including offer management and post-placement care
Recruitment Process Management
- Match suitable candidates to client vacancies efficiently and accurately
- Coordinate interviews and provide feedback to both clients and candidates
- Negotiate offers and manage counteroffers
- Ensure compliance with all recruitment legislation and internal processes
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records on the CRM/ATS system
- Ensure all candidate documentation is compliant prior to placement
- Prepare contracts, offer letters, and placement confirmations
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a sales/customer-focused role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
- Target-driven with a proactive and resilient mindset
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Desirable
- Experience recruiting within office support or professional services
- Knowledge of permanent recruitment processes
- Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems
