Global Recruitment Coordinator
The Global Recruitment Coordinator will provide essential operational and administrative support to the Global Recruitment Team, primarily providing support for admissions and conversion activity.
Working closely with colleagues across colleges and central University functions, the post holder will support international undergraduate admissions and global recruitment and conversion, providing administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Team.
A key focus of the role will be coordinating student ambassador activity, maintaining rotas for student calls and campus tours, managing a number of student inboxes dealing effectively and in a timely manner with prospective student enquiries, coordinating meetings and supporting inward visits by recruitment partners, as well as supporting logistics for outgoing visits by the recruitment team.
The successful candidate will communicate confidently and professionally with senior internal and external stakeholders and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role requires excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a can do attitude
Requirements:
1. At a minimum, passes in 5 subjects at Leaving Certificate level (or equivalent)
2. A recognized post Leaving Certificate administrative/office technology qualification, or equivalent experience
3. Minimum of two years employment experience which demonstrates a high level of administrative support and initiative in a complex office environment.
4. A high level of administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and use initiative to identify and solve problems.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to produce professional correspondence and reports, including the presentation of statistical data.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders, including across language and cultural differences, while maintaining a customer-focused approach
7. Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and knowledge of various University systems such as Agresso, CORE, QUERCUS or similar
8. Ability to work accurately with keen attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently and flexibly in a busy, deadline-driven environment, adapting to changing priorities and supporting activities beyond normal working hours when required.
10. Track record of continuing professional development.
11. Able and willing to work during weekends/ evenings if required.
Desirable:
1. Prior experience of working in an international education setting.
2. Competence in languages, besides English
3. Experience of having worked overseas.
