Overview
An established market‑leading company within the Irish construction supply industry is seeking a Customer Service Executive to join their team. This organisation distributes a wide range of high‑quality building products and prides itself on exceptional customer service, strong technical knowledge, and long‑standing partnerships with international manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Processing incoming purchase orders, quotation requests, and customer queries via phone and email.
- Processing sales invoices.
- Liaising with transport carriers to confirm delivery dates and updating customers accordingly.
- Assisting customers at the trade counter.
- Maintaining accurate records of quotations and orders.
- Providing support to external sales staff as needed.
- Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
- Completing scanning and filing duties related to sales orders.
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
- 5+ years’ experience in a customer service support role (ideal).
- 1+ year of experience with SAP Business One (ideal).
- Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
- Self‑motivated, confident, and capable of working on their own initiative.
- A strong team player.
