Our client, a well-established organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Procurement Local Manager to join their growing team in Cork. Applications are invited from candidates with Technical Procurement experience and a track record of achievement in a fast-paced environment.
Role Details:
· Analyze and monitor Market trends, Suppliers concentrations and Disruptive Innovations
· Identify Sourcing opportunities and evaluate potential internal requests synergies according to Category Strategy and guidelines defined at Central Level
· Execute strategic sourcing activities for Local Categories in line with the Group category management strategy
· Manage contracts (e.g: NDA, Maser Agreements, Project cotracts), measure and improve their utilization
· Define Supplier Segmentation Model and Framework to define relationship type to set-up with key suppliers
· Lead claim management
· Responsible for requiring new suppliers to be added or existing suppliers to be blocked
· Ensuring and being aligned with group Policies and GRC compliances
· Responsible to define and formalize Country requirements and to guarantee their availability and access on country portal
· Ensure ongoing supplier evaluation by managing complaints from Logistics, Production, Quality, Maintenance;
· Manage non-compliance issues with suppliers, request and monitor corrective action when necessary involving relevant stakeholders
· To assist in the implementation of and conformance to the Environmental & Energy Management Systems within key process areas.
· Ensure that the necessary exchange system has been established for suppliers to understand and comply with Ferrero H&S & Energy standards
The successful candidate:
· 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
· Relevant 3rd level qualification
· Excellent computer skills particularly MS Excel, SAP, SAP PM and SAP Ariba
· Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
· Cross cultural environment management skills
· Cross-functional understanding
· Project Management
· Knowledge of the local and global industry market
· Contract & Risk Management
· Stakeholder management skills
