Unconscious bias influences our perception, our attitude, our behaviours, our attention, our listening skills and our micro-affirmations. Basically, unconscious bias is extremely powerful and affects our actions without us evening noticing and from #metoo to the gender pay gap it’s never been more prevalent in work.
A frightening notion when you really think about it. Zero Discrimination Day is an annual day celebrated by the UN and other international organisations, and aims to promote equality in work and outside of work alike.
