Executive Recruitment Case Study: Global Supplier to SIDRA Medicine

Cpl Executive Search were appointed as Executive Recruitment Supplier to SIDRA Medicine from 2016-2018, the contract ceased in 2018 (Oct) when the company restricted their recruitment services.

The objective of our agreement was to source and supply senior candidates from the Gulf region, in particular from Ireland, America, Canada and NZ-Australia.

We provided a strong and diverse pool of candidates across several departments for executive recruitment campaigns as and when needed. These executive recruitment campaigns were managed to tight deadlines crossing many time zones and specialisations. We also managed the seamless relocation of many candidates as part of this contract.

This contract shows our experience in candidate management across time zones, multiple cultures and our ability to relocate candidates. In addition, the project required us to engage and recruit executive-level candidates from the public and private sectors internationally. We provided continual reporting to our client building and reaffirming trust via excellent communication and management.

Global recruitment and relocation campaign

Cpl Executive Search provided an executive search and selection service to SIDRA Medicine over the course of a two year period. We have worked to take a full briefing from the client, compiled candidate briefing packs and advertisements (print and online) for the recruitment campaign, developed and managed international executive searches and managed all applicants from advertisements.

  • After engaging with interested and suitable we longlisted cohorts of candidates and screened these candidates using competency-based interviews.

  • A long list of candidate reports with our recommendations were then presented to the Manager for Senior Appointments in SIDRA. During this project, Cpl Executive managed the logistics for interviews in Qatar.

  • Cpl Executive managed the offer, start date negotiations and relocation packages negotiations. We reported regularly with Anthony van Graan throughout recruitment campaigns by providing weekly reports and submitting final recruitment reports once the campaigns were completed.

  • Cpl Executive managed the candidates professionally, ensuring they were fully briefed on the role and recruitment process and given timely feedback.

  • On average these recruitment campaigns have worked to a 10–14-week timeline from taking the briefing to announcing the appointment.

Our management of recruitment campaigns is robust and has been applied to international clients who seek international cohorts of senior specialised candidates. This case study shows our broad and diverse candidate pool and uses comparable search methodologies and project plans.
