Accounts Assistant
My client a well-established company based outside of the city is seeking an Account’s Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Code and key accounts payable and process timely payments.
- Raise sales invoices ensuring all sales are captured.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with year-end accounts.
- Investigate all discrepancies with invoice totals and work within the company to balance all accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and related correspondence.
- Accounts Receivable and managing credit collections.
- Weekly bank reconciliation and analysis of accounts and variances.
- Contribute to and/or complete special projects as assigned.
Skills:
- 1-2 years’ experience working as an Accounts Assistant.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting /Diploma preferred.
- Accounting Technician qualification is an advantage but not essential.
- IT Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
