Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary Full-Time contract for 3 months.
Role Responsibilities:
• Support the reception, handle emails, and respond to student phone queries.
• Assist in fee billing, debt collection, and reporting.
• Help ensure accurate fee charges, process adjustments (credits, refunds, write-offs).
• Communicate payment deadlines to students and relevant parties.
• Support collection of overdue fees and issue receipts.
• Prepare and follow up on invoices for external funders
• Assist students in financial difficulty with sensitivity; refer to financial aid and manage approved payment plans.
• Stay informed on fee structures, grants, CAO, exams, and financial procedures.
• Maintain compliance with university procedures and internal controls.
• Update website content, including FAQs
Role Requirements:
• At a minimum, passes in 5 subjects at Leaving Certificate level (or equivalent)
• A minimum of two years employment experience which demonstrates a high level of administrative support in a demanding office environment.
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Software; specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook
• The post holder must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in the delivery of the service.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team member
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior Experience with Quercus/Discoverer.
• Prior experience in an administrative role in the Higher Education sector.
