Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary Part Time contract for 3 months end date 25.09.2025.
Role Summary:
This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a professional and welcoming experience while ensuring enquiries are directed appropriately. The position supports both external guests and internal staff by offering accurate information about the institution, assisting with branded merchandise requests, and handling a range of administrative tasks. The role also contributes to the efficiency of the Marketing & Communications Unit through administrative support, including the processing of billing and purchase orders across multiple cost centres.
Role Responsibilities:
- Answering calls, providing information and points of contact and directing visitors/callers/staff to relevant offices and colleagues.
- Staffing the information office and engaging in person with visitors, callers, tourists, students, members of staff and other seeking information, direction and support on campus
- Answering emails, providing information and points of contact and redirecting queries to relevant offices and staff.
- Supporting staff of the Marketing and Communications Unit, including issuing information notes to staff or the student body and administrative work
- Ensure high standards of customer service in the Information Office and on the Switchboard.
Role Requirements:
- Proficiency with IT including MS Office; Outlook.
- Proficiency with call handling.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluent Irish speaker is preferable.
