Assistant Village Manager

The Role:
The Assistant Village Manager will assist in the management of the day-to-day operations of a busy 500-bedroom student residence and will be required to assist the Village Manager in delivering a quality reception service, deliver an exceptional support service for students, and oversee a rigorous property management regime.
You will also manage a vibrant summer business activity providing high quality guest accommodation.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and endeavour to enhance the student living experience and an outstanding guest experience for summer guests.
Skills & Experience that we need:
· Have a 3rd level qualification in hospitality management / business / facility management
· Minimum of 2 to 3 years front line management experience in a busy service environment
· Understanding of excellent customer service management and delivery
· Knowledge and understanding of property/facility management
· Knowledge of the student accommodation sector
· Knowledge of the hospitality/tourism industry
· Excellent interpersonal, organisational and project management skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Experience with property management/hotel software systems
· Demonstrate sound judgement, effective problem solving and a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations.
The Offer:
This is a permanent role with expected base salary of €30,000K to €35,000K per annum, depending on candidate’s experience and the opportunity to work as part of a great team.
