The States of Guernsey are looking for a Senior Nurse Practitioner for Eating Disorders to join the CAMHS team.
This role will provide nursing leadership within the Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service and the role of nursing lead within the multi-disciplinary team approach to the management of clients in the service with eating disorders. They will also ensure practice is delivered safely and in accordance with the Care Quality Framework and policies and procedures.

Key Criteria
· Registered Mental Health Nurse
· Management Qualification Level 5
· The ability to evidence application of HSC’s CARE Values in practice
· Evidence of leadership and change management with an understanding of quality improvement methodology
· Evidence of managing own workload with excellent time management skills
· Evidence of the ability to effectively manage resources
· Evidence of relevant CPD
· A high standard of communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deal with complex and challenging situations in a calm and diplomatic manner
· Ability to lead and motivate staff
· A flexible approach with the ability to work within a challenging environment meeting the needs of the service
· The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
· Commitment to self-development and the development of others
· Adaptable and responsive to changing service needs
· Ability to deal with stress in self and others, recognising when support is required
· Experience of working within a CAMHS setting
· Experience of working with service users with eating disorders
· Experience in delivering teaching and supervision.
· Evidence of further training in treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Systemic Therapy, EMDR
· Desirable: experience in crisis management, and knowledge of research design and methodology
