Bid Co-ordinator
In partnership with its client, CPL is currently recruiting a Bid Co-ordinator to work on busy multi-site contracts.
About the Job
Joining a busy preconstruction team, based in Ballymena, the Bid Co-ordinator with coordinate the Bid / PQQ process, compile and produce bids in order to achieve desired contracts and work closely as a support service to the estimating department.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Management of company profiles on portals and tender/bid platforms
- Identify opportunities via online client portals & tender notices
- Retrieve PQQ/tender documentation from relevant portals and platforms
- Undertake and complete PQQ submissions and technical compliance information to accompany tender bids and responses to expressions of interest
- Ensure all bids are accurately completed and represent Dowds experience and abilities
- Complete submissions inline with pre-set deadlines and company branding
- Develop a good understanding of awarding authorities, their vision, strategy and plans in order to maximise new business generation opportunities
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in bid writing
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and short timescales
- Computer literate in all Microsoft packages
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong business acumen
Desirable Criteria
- Construction or Building Services experience
