About The Job:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager / Site Services Manager, the main responsibility of the Building Services Engineer is to Coordinate and implement facility / utility projects and support facilities management program to deliver safe and reliable utilities / facilities for customers and business.
Main Responsibilities
- Create & lead the successful delivery of complex Facility & Utility projects, generate plans, managing the associated cost and time constraints.
- Interacting with Architects, M&E Designers/Engineers on matters relating to building services.
- Assisting Design teams on development of site-specific Facility/Utility equipment/processes as required.
- Commissioning, organising and assessing the work of contractors.
- Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures.
- Making life-cycle decisions about existing systems equipment and the appropriate location of new equipment.
- Ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements.
- Generate and execute validation protocols, trials/ studies and create associated reports for facilities/utilities.
- Identification of opportunities for new technology and driving continuous improvement.
- Performing and analysing data, evaluating results, forming conclusions & contributing to Facility/Utility process improvements.
- Identification and implementation of Cost Improvement and innovative Opportunities for Facility Operations.
- Oversight of facilities/utilities preventative maintenance program
What you will need to Succeed:
- 2 years experience working in a similar / related position
- Third Level Qualification or Craft Certificate in Engineering / Automation / Mechanical / Electrical
