Role Overview
The Business Development team plays a critical role in securing new investment opportunities from key global markets. This role will focus on generating Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from South Korean companies across sectors such as Technology, Semiconductors, Biotechnology, Financial Services, Advanced Engineering, and the Green Economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with target companies in South Korea that have potential to invest in Ireland
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives in selected target companies to develop a sustainable pipeline of future investment prospects.
- Deliver persuasive presentations to C-level executives, business groups, and industry networks to promote Ireland as a prime FDI location.
- Demonstrate strong sectoral knowledge and communicate Ireland’s value propositions clearly and effectively.
- Secure company commitments for site visits to Ireland, organize tailored itineraries, and support the investment decision-making and implementation processes.

Essential Experience and Competencies
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in international B2B enterprise sales, business development, or account management in a corporate environment.
- Full professional fluency in both Korean and English, with the ability to lead business negotiations in both languages.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience in strategic selling within a performance-driven environment.
- Advanced communication skills, including delivering high-impact presentations to executive audiences.
- Solid understanding of international business and business cultures in both Asia and Ireland.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the Lifesciences, Technology, Financial Services, or Sustainability sectors.
Salary and Benefits
- Annual Salary: KRW 151,600,000 (€96,500)
- Annual Leave: 25 days
- Transportation Allowance: KRW 200,000 per month
- Meal Allowance: KRW 100,000 per month
