External Job Description
A client of a large medical institution is looking for a Medical Administrator to provide a high standard of service to consultants, consultant’s secretaries, and clinical units within the hospital.
- This role requires previous administrative experience in a support role
- Medical terminology/ hospital experience is highly desired.
This is an immediate start role with the planned start date once Garda Vetting is completed
€14.91- €17.33p/h DOE
Duties of role
- Record patient’s information onto the Hospital information system according to Hospital policy.
- To work in conjunction with all areas of the business providing administration support.
- Provide a day-to-day overview to management, communicating with clients, taking bookings etc.
- To support accessing the specific requirements of each client and booking accordingly
- Provide specific data to senior management
- provide reports on all data collected to senior management
Person Specification
- Working knowledge of the Hospital setting desired
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills- previous experience using hospital administrative software a bonus
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite – Word and Excel
- Good telephone manner
- Medical terminology desired
