My client – a public sector body in Portlaoise requires a Clerical Officer to join their team. This is a full-time temporary position supporting both front-of-house operations at reception (3 days per week) and administrative functions within the Corporate Services team (2 days per week).

Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties (3 Days per Week):
- Welcoming visitors and managing front desk enquiries.
- Answering and directing telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Booking meeting rooms and coordinating visitor appointments.
- Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area.
Corporate Admin Support (2 Days per Week):
- Assisting with general office administration tasks.
- Preparing, formatting, and distributing documents and reports.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Supporting data entry and database management.
- Assisting with meeting preparation and minute taking, as required.
Essential Requirements:
- 2 years clerical or administrative experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
