Cpl in partnership with our client Pfizer are seeking an EHS Specialist to join the team for an 11 month fixed term contract at their state of the art site in Grange Castle, Dublin. This role has a Hybrid working model attached.

What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
• Identify and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards and regulations for hazardous workplace conditions in DS and Manufacturing areas.
• Participate in OSHA inspections, follow-up procedures, and contribute to the development and implementation of EHS performance plans.
• Manage moderately projects, develop short-term work plans, and apply skills to contribute effectively within the Work Team in the area.
• Oversee daily EHS activities, maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders, and conduct Improvement programs.
• Integrate EHS into daily management, identify improvement opportunities, collaborate with local safety champions, and assist in evaluating new sites, projects, and equipment.
• Investigate safety, health, and organizational environment incidents, develop and disseminate EHS communications, and maintain fire safety and first aid programs for the area.
• Audit site systems and processes, implement EHS cultural improvement activities, and review, identify, develop, and deliver EHS-related training programs.
• Manage and maintain digital EHS platforms with the aim to making them go to points of information for areas and specialists alike.
Minimum Requirements:
• B.Sc/Eng diploma (or equivalent) or relevant certificates with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in understanding and applying the laws, regulations, standards, and best practices governing health and safety
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced skills in managing digital systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in EHS program development, implementation, and ongoing management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of EHS programs in pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience managing SharePoint and/or EHS digital platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
