On behalf of Our client, we are seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their operations team at a critical Data Centre site in Clondalkin. This is a permanent, onsite role offering long-term career potential in a high-performance facility environment. Ideally you will have; Power Generation experience, Experience in Co Generation Sync &
HV Experience
About the Role:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the site’s electrical systems. You’ll work hands-on in a dynamic technical environment where your expertise will directly contribute to minimizing downtime and enhancing operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the electrical infrastructure of a mission-critical data centre
- Work closely with internal maintenance teams and client representatives
- Conduct technical assessments and implement system improvements
- Assist in commissioning new equipment and preparing related documentation
- Optimize and manage preventative maintenance schedules
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, including fire alarm systems
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date operating procedures are maintained
- Oversee interactions with external contractors and suppliers
- Manage spare parts inventory effectively
- Support the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives
- Contribute to quality audits and ensure clean, safe work environments
Qualifications & Experience:
You’ll need either of the following:
- A Qualified Electrician (Electrical Trade Certification) with 5+ years of experience, ideally with a focus on power systems
- Or
- A Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven experience with electrical systems and industrial equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently in a shift-based environment
- Computer literate with familiarity in maintenance planning systems
- Knowledge of large-scale or mission-critical electrical infrastructure

- Internal: Facility teams, supervisors, and engineering support
- External: Contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers
