About the Role
As Field Service Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s service and maintenance client base. You’ll focus on promoting long-term Service Level Agreements (SLAs), inspections, and ongoing compliance solutions to both new and existing clients across a range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly service sales and margin targets
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities within target sectors: healthcare, hospitality, pharma, education, commercial, and government
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to maximise pipeline conversion and cross-selling potential
- Leverage your commercial acumen to deliver value-driven, margin-positive solutions
- Collaborate with regional sales colleagues to capitalise on joint opportunities
- Follow up on all assigned leads with professionalism and urgency
- Stay well-informed on our full service offering and maintain strong product knowledge
- Build awareness of competitors to clearly articulate your division’s competitive advantage
- Maintain and grow your own book of accounts, with weekly client visits and development activity across the southern region
- Work closely with marketing to align on key messaging and lead generation
- Support your line manager in tracking KPIs and identifying new business opportunities
- Cross-sell the broader portfolio of technical services and solutions offered by the group
What We’re Looking For
- 3–4 years’ experience in a field-based sales role, ideally with a focus on service or compliance solutions
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of or network in sectors such as: Hospitality, Facilities Management, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, County Councils or Government
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Commercially astute with a customer-first approach
- Highly organised and self-directed, with a proactive and professional manner
