Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant- Dungannon - £40k-£42k

Cpl NI are pleased to work with a leading manufacturing company to recruit for an experienced Accountant. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting process improvements within a dynamic finance team.

Duties:

·      Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts for the group.

·      Manage and report on company travel and expenses.

·      Ensure compliance with relevant HMRC regulations.

·      Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.

·      Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes.

·      Support the Finance Manager in delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.

·      Prepare reports for external stakeholders.

·      Assist with year-end audit processes and statutory account preparation.

·      Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards.

Criteria:

·      ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or qualified by experience with at least 2+ years in a relevant role).

·      Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the organisation.

·      Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.

·      Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

·      Experience in manufacturing and ERP systems (desirable).
