Key Areas of Responsibility
•Lead the preparation for and participation in internal and external audits, including but not limited to ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, FSMA, Food Safety and Quality Industrial Audits, and Self-Assessment Audits.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support third-party audits such as SMETA.
•Oversee the internal audit process, including planning, execution, follow-up, and auditor training.
•Participate in cross-plant audits within the company network (1–2 times per year).
•Monitor and report on key Quality performance indicators (e.g., consumer complaints, non-conformities, glass & hard plastic inspections), and support relevant departments in developing and executing action plans.
•Coordinate and track the status of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), ensuring effective implementation and follow-up with stakeholders.
•Maintain and update HACCP plans using risk assessment methodologies, and lead the food safety team to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.
•Oversee the Environmental Monitoring Program and work with relevant departments to ensure proper implementation and effectiveness.
•Manage product traceability systems within the plant and organize periodic traceability simulation exercises.
•Lead and coordinate Patrol Walks to support food safety and GMP compliance on the production floor.
•Deliver training sessions on Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for Production and Maintenance, and other prerequisite programs (PRPs).
•Develop and implement site-specific rules in alignment with Group standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
•Draft and maintain manuals, procedures, and manage the plant’s Quality Documentation System.
•Supervise external service providers related to food safety functions, including pest control, cleaning, and calibration services.
•Manage procurement activities related to food safety requirements and services.
•Lead and support the implementation of food safety improvement projects within the plant.
•Ensure adequate coverage of key roles and responsibilities by coordinating substitutions in the absence of team members.
