Due to expansion we look to hire an experienced General/ Office Manager to join our team on permanent basis. The person will be responsible for managing the end- to- end operations of the facility to include HR, Payroll, Facilities and other administrative functions.
Key responsibilities and Duties
· Act as the point of contact for general/day-to-day HR queries from employees and issuing of employee correspondence, ensuring the service delivery is of high quality and in a timely and professional manner.
· Facilitate induction and onboarding programmes that integrate new hires effectively into the organisation.
· Responsible for day-to-day office operations, including office access management, ordering of supplies & equipment, routine maintenance checks & repairs (including cleanliness), incident reporting, supplier/vendor relations, deliveries & and office security.
· Develop and maintain H&S procedures and documentation as required ensuring compliance with workplace H&S legislation. Provide H&S induction training for employees and managers.
· Ensure full compliance of entire team with site policies, procedures, and regulations
· Ensure timely and relevant communication with all required departments in the businesses
· Manage budgets and forecasts.
· Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
· Source, screen, interview & offer candidates
· Maintain excellent employee relations, understand the needs and concerns of all employees, resolve issues (with the assistance of the HR department)
· Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders.
· Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time.
Requirements
· Significant experience in a similar role (HR/ Facilities experience)
· Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry is desirable
· Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· A strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise deadlines and remain calm under pressure
· Self-motivated, proactive, takes initiative
· Strong administration skills and attention to detail
