Hospital Account Manager (Sales)
Our client is a progressive & ambitious Irish-owned healthcare company specialising in pharmaceuticals, medical devices & registered biocides. We partner with leading global, European & Irish healthcare & pharmaceutical manufacturers to bring our customers the latest & most innovative products & services throughout the island of Ireland.
Currently looking for a Hospital Account Manager to drive portfolio within our Southern territory. Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for generating new business & increasing sales to customers across the full portfolio of products.
Requirements
Proven track record in hospitals sales, demonstrating achievement of targets & YOY double digit growth
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years hospital sales experience
3rd level qualification, preferably in science & or business / marketing
Strong relationship builder who can identify customer needs & develop strategies to address these needs
Build rapport with key decision makers / opinion leaders
Work consultatively with customers
Prior experience working with the following:
o Hospital Pharmacists
o Purchasing / Procurement managers
o Infection prevention & control managers
o CSSD / Endoscopy / Decontamination / Theatre managers
Excellent presentation skills, comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
It is essential for the candidate to be extremely sales focussed, engaged & a team player, who will convey confidence & credibility within the clinical setting
Must be adaptable to meet the needs of a dynamic, growth focussed company
Responsibilities
· Achieve new sales & continuous double growth through the promotion of the portfolio
· Demonstrate pipeline development & new business delivery each week
· Maintain existing business through service, support & the provision of educational sessions
· Attend industry conferences both nationally & internationally
· Excellent time management ensuring the expectations of customers are met across the territory
· As the face of the organisation, you must represent the company in an ethical manner at all times
