Our healthcare client in Dublin West is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor for a 12 month maternity leave contract, offering hybrid working with 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH. The successful candidate will deliver key HR advice to sector members on all HR, Workforce & Recruitment matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED:
· Advise members on the handling of employee relations issues, including management of grievance and disciplinary cases
· Maintain up to date knowledge of employment legislation
· Address the challenges in recruitment and retention
· Ensure pathways to recruit staff and open and transparent
· Provide advice of overseas recruitment, including permits/sources of candidates
· Project management of any ad-hoc recruitment and workforce planning issues
· Maintain recruitment websites to facilitate advertisements and use social media to promote vacancies.
· Plan, budget, provide, organise training and webinars as required, on relevant sector specific topics.
· Partner with Finance for the delivery of monthly payroll execution
· Enable and lead on all HR related projects, including HR continuous improvement practices
· Oversee the Garda vetting function
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· 3rd level degree in HR or a related discipline. CIPD qualified, preferable
· 3+ years’ relevant HR experience.
· Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
· Excellent knowledge of Irish employment legislation and regulations
· Excellent report-writing skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Attention to detail and highly organised,
· A high degree of computer literacy, including Word, Excel, CRM, Website and Social Media.
