Information Security Analyst - Dublin
Joining my clients team as an Information Security Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in developing /communicating information security policies to safeguard their networks and information systems from unauthorised access. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating and implementing consistent security standards and processes across my clients organisation, ensuring compliance with policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development: Contribute to developing and communicating information security policies for their organisation, ensuring ongoing compliance and adherence.
- Security Standards Implementation: Drive the development and implementation of consistent security standards and guidelines across the company in alignment with established policies.
- Information Security Maintenance: Manage the process to maintain information security policies and standards regularly.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor emerging security threats, manage exceptions to information security policy, and ensure policy relevance to achieve the clients objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience; previous experience in information security management activities.
- Familiarity with firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, IDPS concepts, patch management, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO27000, NIS & NIS2).
- Security certification (e.g., CISSP, CCIE) is advantageous; relevant 3rd level degree is preferred.
- Broad knowledge and experience in information security policies, processes, and best practices.
