Cpl Cork are delighted to be partnering with a global manufacturing client who are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their onsite team in Cork.
Your new role
As the sole IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for managing day to day IT operations for all employees in Ireland. Based onsite in the Little Island HQ you will be;
· Supporting onboarding and transfer requests.
· Provide support for any integration activities.
· Working with Global teams, you will resolve complex and advanced IT issues.
· You will support all services relating to Lifecycle management, Asset Management, License Management and User Access management for end users software and hardware.
· Provide a positive and supportive experience to colleagues.
· Coordinate uninterrupted IT support and communicate ongoing strategy and execution with colleagues.
· Work with end users to provide training, advice, and guidance and training on IT systems and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience working in a large-scale environment providing support for Hardware, Software & Applications.
· 3+ years IT experience in a customer facing role
· Experience of supporting Windows laptops, desktops, Microsoft Office 365 applications and mobile devices.
· Microsoft Windows Desktop Certifications or CompTIA A+, experience with Microsoft SCCM and ITIL Certification is a plus
· Proven experience handling enquiries and escalations
· Experience of providing IT support in a Manufacturing environment would beneficial
· Occasional travel to two additional Cork sites will be required, access to a Car is essential
· Onsite 5 days per week, working hours 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am – 2.30pm on Friday.
